Pisces is the sign of nothingness. Where there is nothing, there is great potential. The freedom and openness allows for opportunity through mutability and change. But too much flexibility can cause extreme imbalance. Think of the sugar substitute, aspartame. It’s nothing. 0 calories because the sugar is manipulated so much that your body doesn’t even recognize it as being energy. There’s a list of diseases related to the consumption of products which contain aspartame. Too much confusion makes you sick. This is why diet sodas are really not the best for you either. Your body thinks you’re consuming sugar then realizes that you’re not. That’s confusion.
Confusion is great for creativity and an issue for overly analytical and possibly self-centered individuals. There’s beauty in art through the appearance of reality merged with a made up world. This is what Pisces are good at because they can sacrifice attention from themselves and instead honor that attention towards others.The energy has to go somewhere and often times it is expressed through the following archetypes: the artist, the therapist and the bum. The artist is able to transform from being needed or needy, and takes time in seclusion to create. Whether it be music, writing, drawing, painting, dancing — escapism from day-to-day life involves being creative rather than practical. Others may still have a practical daily life also, but creativity is a significant part of the artist lifestyle.
The therapist was always solving other people’s problems growing up, or at least being there for others. It becomes second nature to understand the feelings of others and knowing what is needed to be said. A strong therapist can literally listen to other people’s problems without it really effecting their day-to-day life. This is regardless if they are a licensed therapist or just a friend to open up to at a time of need. The psychic abilities are utilized more directly for the therapist archetype. This type of personality can also be religious and utilize religious principles to guide others.
The bum is obviously the lower octave of a Pisces lifestyle. The person could be creative, helpful and very intelligent, but they may have lacked long-term motivation to succeed in anything. A lack of boundaries in friendships cause imbalance. Often these type of Pisces abuse drugs to maintain relationships with others. They escape from their own senses too much and often lose touch with their identity.
What’s special about Pisces is that it’s connected to the number 12, which is simplified into 3 in numerology. Every zodiac sign has the opportunity to self-undo and seek new beginnings. The challenge is acknowledging an issue, taking responsibility and the approach to self-undoing.
Usually, the best approach for Pisces is acknowledging the karma that was probably created behind your back. Since Pisces is connected to the unseen world and past life karma, the aura becomes fused with your shadows. These shadows teach you to either stop caring so much about pleasing others, or the exact opposite. Pisces shadow side is usually related to the realization of being taken advantage of by others. Maybe you were trying too hard to be well liked, to the point of becoming fake and flakey. You also may have received nothing back in return for your kindness and generosity. In this case, it is needed to set some boundaries in who deserves your kindness.
Another shadow side of Pisces is lack of clarity or explanation. It can be very irritating to always have to explain the meaning of something because the imagination is not logical. But Pisces can face a lot of misunderstandings if they continue to fail to explain some of their actions, behaviors and appearances.
Take for example, in 2018, the popular hip-hop song U.O.E.N.O. by Rocko, rapper Rick Ross featured a verse, which was criticized for the possible misunderstanding of rape. That particular line in Rick Ross’s verse was removed from the song and he apologized for the lyrics. This is a simple example of self-undoing.
As a Pisces with Virgo placements and a mercury in Aries, I tend to self-undo quite rapidly. I learned that we are easily delusional and misguided. People can go to church and still pick up the wrong morals or lessons, because people are selective in how they attend to information.
So, as a Pisces you have to start explaining the normal behaviors which you may escape or people try to manipulate your character and intentions.
You never know who has it out for you, behind your back. People may act kind and smile in your face everyday. But they monitor your behavior and habits. Say you have red eyes because you have allergies, but no one has ever shown suspicion nor concern. You thought that if anyone were to ever be concerned, they would have the common sense to know that it’s allergies. But the truth is that insecurities override common sense. As soon as there’s an issues with the security of others, your colleagues will have no problem starting a rumor about you. You’re not emotionally stable or you come to work high everyday. People become suspicious of you and they will monitor you until you prove them otherwise.
